Mrs. Addie S. Kelder, 83, widow of John W. Kelder, of Olive Bridge, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Olsen at New Paltz. She was the daughter of the late George Smedes and Josephine Avery Smedes and was born at Mt. Tremper. She had been a resident of Olive Bridge practically all of her life. She was a member of the Krumville Reformed Church; Olive Rebekah Lodge, 470, and the Past Noble Grand Association. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Harry Krom of Olive Bridge, Mrs. Elson Oakley of Shokan, Mrs. John Olsen of New Paltz, Mrs. Arthur Eckhoff of South Ozone Park, L. I.; four sons: Merritt of Orlando, Fla., Clarence and Ward of Poughkeepsie, and Bradford Kelder of Olive Bridge; 26 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the Olive Bridge Methodist Church, Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harlan Kishpaugh officiating. Rebekah Lodge will conduct ritualistic services Sunday at 8 p.m. at the H. B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. Bearers will be Jesse Shurter, Lester Osterhoudt, Floyd Brown, Howard Trowbridge, Alonzo Davie, and Andrew Radtke. Burial will be in the Tongore Cemetery, Olive Briege.
