Graveside services for Lewis Clayton Edwards, 75, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens with Elder Ronnie Hedges officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Edwards died Sunday, April 3, 2011, in Lubbock. He was born Jan. 17, 1936, in Knox City to Elmo and Lela Keel Edwards. He graduated from Plainview High School and married Glenda Malone on Feb. 8, 1958, in Floydada. He worked for Kimball's Grocery Supply for 15 years and then for the Coca-Cola Company for 38 years, retiring as warehouse manager. He served in the National Guard for 13 years and attended Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie and Carol Edwards and Shane and Tracy Edwards, all of Plainview, and Jamie and Lisha Edwards of Jackson, Miss.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
