HELEN L. ROSE

Mrs. Helen Rose, 75, of 716 N. 13th St., died Monday night at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Born in Manitowoc County on Sept. 6, 1890, she was a daughter of the late Dietrich and Katherine Kattre, and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church at Louis Corners. On March 24, 1917, she was married to Melvin Rose at Plymouth.
The couple settled in New Holstein where Mr. Rose was in charge of the brass and aluminum foundry at the John Launsen Manufacturing Co. The family moved to Sheboygan in 1943. Mr. Rose died in 1946. Mrs. Rose was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors are two sons, Harvey and Harold, both of Sheboygan; one grandchild; a brother, Henry Kattre of Kiel, and a sister, Mrs. Peter Stallman of Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nickel's Funeral Home. The Rev. Hans Tornow, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Rockville Cemetery near Kiel.
