Ervin J. Raquet, 77, of 732 Sixth Street, Kiel, died September 14, at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient the past two weeks.
He was born September 27, 1900 in the town of Schleswig, the son of David and Emma Steinberg Raquet. He attended district school. On February 16, 1932 he married Lydia Eick in the parsonage of the First Lutheran Church in Waukegan, Illinois. The couple lived in Sheboygan for a year before moving to Stoughton where Mr. Raquet was employed as a carpenter. In 1972 the couple moved to Kiel. Mrs. Raquet died on July 12, 1977.
Only immediate survivor is a niece, Mrs. Carl Kuenne of Sheboygan.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Reverend Ward B. Malloy, pastor of Bethlehem United church of Christ, town of Schleswig, officiated. Burial was in the Schleswig Cemetery at Rockville.
