EDWIN GEORGE OEHLDRICH

Edwin George Oehldrich, age 87, formerly of 306 South Wisconsin Drive, Howards Grove died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999 at the Sunnyridge Nursing Home in Sheboygan.
He was born on June 14, 1912 in the town of Centerville, the son of the late Ervin and Marie Neuhaus Oehldrich.
Edwin Oehldrich and Elda Hecker were united in marriage on June 13, 1936 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Elda preceded him in death on June 18, 1997.
During Edwin's lifetime he drove a cattle truck, worked as a hired hand and worked for Delmar Bersch, Kuester and Burhop Ford garage, and lastly at Kohler Company for 22 years. He retired in 1976.
Surviving are his brother Harvey Oehldrich of Sheboygan; four sisters, Gertrude (Henry) Wagner of Kiel, Norma (Harvey) Henschel of Cleveland, Helen Gross of Sheboygan, and Jeanette (Ralph Koepke) of Cascade; and one sister-in-law Larraine (Henry) Schwinn of Cleveland. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.
A funeral service will be conducted for Edwin Oehldrich on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. at the Zimmer Funeral Chapel, 117 N. Wisconsin Drive, Howards Grove, with Dr. Steven Pedersen, pastor of Zion United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in the Town of Schleswig Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Zimmer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in the name of Edwin Oehldrich.
