Mrs. Henry Little Funeral Services Held Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Little, 70, were held at ten o'clock Saturday morning from the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home with Dr. A. L. Gatewood, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment followed in the Columbia cemetery under direction of Colonial Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Tom Barnes, Luther Lee Little, George Moody and Frank Jennings, H. V. Brister, Berry Little.
Mrs. Little, a native of Homerville, Ga., had lived in Columbia since 1907 and was widely known and beloved here, she made her home at 1110 North Main Street until about two and one-half years ago when she went to Jackson due to failing health and had been there at a nursing home since that time.
Her husband, Henry Little preceded her in death in 1933.
Mrs. Little, who was the former Mittie Campbell, was a member of the First Baptist Church here and had been active in the W W U and other phases of Church work, until her health failed.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. A. M. Fraiser of Jackson, Mrs. G. N. Johnson of Philadelphia, Mrs. J. C. Rainey of MaLima, Honduras and Mrs. J. C. Fortenberry of Florida; one son, F. L. Barnes of Pascagoula; two sisters Mrs. Nits Mosen of Buffalo, N. Y. and Mrs. Belle Lake of Bradenton, N. Y. and five grandchildren.
