Simon Cy Briones 92

Mr. Simon Cy Briones of Albany, formerly of Colquitt, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fletcher Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at Gordon Cemetery with Military Honors.. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 5, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Mr. Briones was a member of Boykin Church of God and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Walter C Dancer Masonic Lodge #115 and Albany Hasan Temple, Gerald Grow Post #165 American Legion and Woodmen of the World.

He is survived by one son, Ronnie (Beth) Briones of Moultrie, GA; one daughter, Linda Williams of Albany, GA; four grandchildren, Troy Williams, Josh Briones, Jobyna Briones, and Shana Briones; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and one sister, Rachel Gutowsky of Brooklyn, NY.
