Bonita Roxine Harrison, 85, Milroy, died Jan. 17, 2003.

Services: 10 a.m. Jan. 20 in Burns Funeral Home, Milroy with calling 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 19. Burial: Old Milroy Cemetery. Rev. Bill Jackson and Rev. Phil Mitchel officiating.

She was preceded in death by husband Cecil Harrison, son John Ed Harrison and daughter-in-law Nancy K. Smith.

Survivors: sons Fred and Taryn Harrison, David and Sharon Harrison; daughter-in-law Sheryl Harrison; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother Fredric Patterson; sister Molly Platt.

Bonita Roxine Harrison

Bonita Roxine Harrison, 85, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Milroy.

She was born April 2, 1917, in Franklin County. Her parents were Samuel Edgar and Bonita Rhinehart Patterson. She married Cecil Harrison on Nov. 8, 1934. He preceded her in death Jan. 5, 1972. Survivors include two sons, Fred Harrison of Glenwood and David Harrison of Franklin; a brother, Fredric Patterson of Arlington; a sister, Molly Platt of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was a preceded in death by a son, John Ed Harrison.

She was a farmer.

She was a member of Milroy United Methodist Church.

The Revs. Bill Jackson and Phil Mitchel will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Monday at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Old Milroy Cemetery in Milroy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Milroy Methodist Church.
