Daughter of Charles & Hannah Sholes-Severance.
Married George W. Van Dyne (1846 - 1915) of Phelps, NY, in 1865. Had no children. Her mother, Hannah, lived with them most of their married life.
After George's death, "Lottie" married Jesse Reynolds in 1916.

Phelps, Dec.4— The death of Mrs.
Charlotte Van Dyne Reynolds wife of
Jesse Reynolds of this place, occurred
yesterday at the Willard State Hospital
where she had been a patient for
the last month. Mrs. Reynolds was
about 68 years of age. She was twice
married, her first husband being George
VanDyne, a resident Of Phelps for
many years. Survivors are her husband
and a sister, Mrs. Matthews of
Geneva. The remains will be brought
to Phelps for Interment in the family
lot in Rest Haven cemetery.
