ANNA ELIZABETH BARNARD
Anna Elizabeth Barnard, 72, a longtime Clackamas County resident, died Tuesday in a Milwaukie Hospital.
For the last two years she had been a Milwaukie resident.
Born in Morristown, S.D., Mrs. Barnard was raised on a Canby-area farm and before her marriage was employed as a domestic worker in Oregon City. She resided for several years in Ocean Park, Wash., where her husband died in 1961. She returned to make her home in Parkrose approximately eight years ago.
She is survived by two sons, Gary, Portland, and Hazen R.C., Rogue River; a daughter, LaVonne Lund, Sandy; two brothers, Ray Zacher, Canby and Ted Zacher, Aurora; five sisters, Bertha Walch; Alma Webb, Beavercreek; Ida Darr, Government Camp; Milda Kelland, Canby and Esther Nelson, Salt Laker City; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial service was Saturday at United Methodist Church in Gresham. Cremation was private with urn internment at Mountain View Cemetery, Oregon City. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, in care of Stehn's Milwaukie Funeral Home.
