Major League Baseball Player. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was a was an outfielder, infielder and pitcher making his debut for the Pittsburgh Alleghenys on May 7, 1883. For two seasons, he played with the Pittsburgh Alleghenys and St. Louis Brown (1883), also the Baltimore Monumentals and Kansas City Cowboys (1884). He concluded his career with a a record of 42 hits, 27 runs scored, a .176 batting average and as pitcher had no wins, 5 loss, 3 complete games, 7 strikeouts with a 5.30 earned run average. He later served as an umpire for the Union Association League and died at age 63 in St. Louis, Missouri.
