Services will be held for James F. Clark, III who passed away July 7, 1999 in Soquel. Burial will be beside wife Jackie at City View Cemetery in Salem, Oregon at a future date.

Jim was born November 9, 1924 in Honolulu, Hawaii to James F. Clark, Sr. and Louise de Harne. A graduate of the St. Louis Academy, he served in the U.S. Army in the Philippine Campaign during World War II, and moved from Hawaii to California after the war to finish his college degree at San Jose State College. He married Jacqueline Vere Bunce in Capitola and raised five children while working as a draftsman and engineer in San Jose and Soquel, and later Illinois and Oregon. He retired to Soquel two years ago. He enjoyed coin collecting, loved fishing, and was an avid stamp collector. A Boy Scout and Sea Scout in his youth, he was a past Scoutmaster of a Boy Scout Troop, and a member of Elks Lodges in Hawaii, Oregon and California.

Wife Jackie preceded Jim to heaven eight years ago and daughter Diana followed last year. He is survived by son Michael Clark and wife Janet of Bakersfield, California, Diana's husband Mike Kobel of Salem, Oregon, daughter Linda Rossi and husband Mark of Capitola, son Philip Clark and wife Pam of Bend, Oregon, daughter Pam Clark-Meister and husband Bruce of Scottsdale, Arizona, and nine grandchildren. Jim has many relatives in Hawaii, the Bay Area, Oregon, and southern California. He will be greatly missed by all.
