Elizabeth M. Peifer, 92, Normal, passed away Friday (April 1, 2011) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Bloomington.
She was born Oct. 7, 1918 in Bloomington to Ross H. and Faye Nighswonger Spencer. She married Charles F. Peifer on Aug. 4, 1937 in LaFayette, Indiana. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents and five sisters.
Surviving are one son, Charles V. Peifer, Schertz, Texas; special friend, Mary Anne Raney, Normal and three grandsons.
