A funeral service celebrating the life of Larry S. Carter will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2004 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Bonita Davis officiating. Interment will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
Mr. Carter, 54, of Pineville, died Friday, April 16, 2004, in his residence.
Mr. Carter was an automobile mechanic during his working life and was a member of the Bird Watcher's Club and the Model Airplane Club.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lowell L. "Red" Carter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Dixie V. Pace Carter of Pineville; his brother and sister-in-law, Lowell A. and Donna Carter of Pineville; his nieces, Lisa Simoneaux of Garnerville, Nevada and Christie Carter of Pineville; his nephew, Chris Carter of Pineville, and his little dog "Murphy".
The family asks that friends call after 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. until time of service Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
