Services for Joyce Elaine Sykes, of Bogue Chitto, are 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial in Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.
Visitation is Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sykes, 57, died Aug. 30, 2008, at her residence. She was born on Dec. 12, 1950, to Charles Harvey Nettles and Dorothy Mae Greer Nettles.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Arlington Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death was her mother.
Survivors are her father; her husband of 15 years, Gary Lee Sykes; her sons, Torbin James Ordogne, Timothy Scott Davis and Douglas "Tony" Anthony Davis; his daughters, Jessica Sykes Williams and Andrean Sykes Williams; a brother, Charles Gregory Nettles; a sister, Charlotte Ann Nichols; her 10 grandchildren, Donavon Anthony Davis, Kaci Corinne Davis, Aleah Rebecca Ragland, Kalee' Anna Davis, Devin Scott Davis, Jonathon Davis, Cheyenne Dekota Keeton, Madison Lynn Keeton, Abigail Elizabeth Keeton and Mason Blane Williams; and a great-great-grandchild, Shantley Day Marie Davis.
