She arrived on Aug. 23, 1879 in the Hawaiian Islands with her family on the British Ship Ravenscrag, and they settled in North Kohala on the Island of Hawaii. There she married Emil de Harne on Aug. 28, 1886 in the Halawa Catholic Church. They moved in 1914 to 1245 Wilder Avenue in Honolulu, which became the de Harne family home for the next 50 years. She died at St. Francis Hospital. A rosary was held for her on her 90th birthday on Christmas Day, and she was buried the day after.
