Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Sears, 84, a resident at Heartlands of Martinsburg, W.Va., formerly of Adamstown, died Wednesday, June 7, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Married twice, her first husband was the late Grayson Brunner Sr., and her second husband, Willie Millard Sears, died in 1984.
Born May 11, 1916, in Lily Pons, she was a daughter of the late Felix Lorenzo and Mamie Cutsail Plunkard Sr.
Mrs. Sears was a member of Koontz Chapel, Park Mills.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are one daughter, Sue Ann Sears Lloyd of Frederick; four brothers, Clyde Plunkard, Frank Plunkard, Felix Plunkard and Edward Plunkard; two sisters, Emily Firor and Grace Hauver; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann LeMaster, Patricia Lynn Brunner, Timothy Grayson Brunner, Michael William Lloyd and Duranne Marie Lloyd; seven great-grandchildren, Corey Brunner, Kodi Brunner, Douglas Brunner, David LeMaster, Crystal LeMaster, Collin Lloyd and Corrine Lloyd; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sears was preceded in death by one son, Grayson Brunner Jr.; and two sisters, Mildred Crawford and Dorothy Sears.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 12, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Forest Grove United Methodist Church, c/o Pastor Stan Zimmerman, 2800 Rustic Manor Court, Glenwood, Md. 21738.
