Frances Ann Shworles, 99, of Duncan, Okla., died on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Wilkins Nursing Center.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Duncan Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Allen officiating. Services are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
She was born on Aug. 26, 1911 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Ignatious (Jim) and Barbara Rusteck. She married Joseph J. Shworles on May 10, 1930 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1997.
Frances was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting.
Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Mary Walker of Duncan, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Frances B. (Frannie) Shworles and a son-in-law, Richard (Sonny) Walker Jr.
Pallbearers will be: Rick Walker, Don Lagaly, Grant Walker, Chad Lagaly, Jeff Jacobs, Paul Walker and Tim Walker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The American Cancer Society or The Alzheimer's Association.
