Mrs. Pluckhahn, the former Myrtle Booth Borchert, was born Feb. 2, 1886, at Dexter, Kan., and received her education in the Carroll public schools. On Feb. 27, 1907, she married Fred Pluckhahn. She had lived in her present home for 43 years, and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church.
Survivors include her husband; four children: Clarence C, Frederick H. and Wilbur W. of Carroll, and Mrs. Lillian Mundt of Manning; two sisters and a brother: Mrs. Selms Schirck and Mrs. Joseph Daniel of Carroll and Walter Borchert of Glidden, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William.
