William E. Price, 66, of Galion, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008 at Galion Community Hospital.
Born Nov. 12, 1941 in Swords Creek, Va., he was the son of the late Thomas Price and Josephine (Stevens) Price. He was preceded in death Feb. 11, 2005 by his wife, Janet S. (Grimwood) Price, whom he married Sept. 9, 1961.
Bill worked for Weithman Brothers Construction as a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years. He attended Trinity Gospel Tabernacle, enjoyed taking care of his yard, fishing, hunting, his family, especially his grandchildren and life in general.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Kirk Pinyerd of Galion, Kim and Ahmed Al-Humoud, Qortuba, Kuwait and Kristy and Fred Hatcher of Mansfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Cyndee Price of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Kevin Pinyerd, Sarah Al-Humoud, Norah Al-Humoud, Justin Hatcher, Chad Hatcher, Rip Price and Taylor Price; one great grandson, Chad Hatcher, Jr.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Wint and Nancy Price and Willard Price, all of Swords Creek, Va. and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ivory and Jim Duncan and Shirley and Gene Justice, all of Galion.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kasey Pinyerd, two sisters and six brothers.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008 with Pastor Rick Cox and Rev. Paul Walter officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
