-- Willie Allen, Army Sergeant, ROCK HILL - Willie L. Allen of 429 Byars St. died July 2, 1989, at home. Funeral is 3 p.m. today at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. C.S. Sanders and the Rev. Charles Kiser officiating. Burial is in Barber Memorial Cemetery. The body will lie in state, beginning at 1 p.m.
Mr. Allen was a retired Army sergeant with 25 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of Emmett Scott High School and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Cassell Allen; son, Jimmie Cassell; daughter, Mrs. Minnie White; sisters, Mrs. Virginia L. Williams of Charlotte, Mrs. Margaret C. Jackson of Trenton, N.J., and Mrs. Belva Crawford and Mrs. Viola L. Talliferro; brother, Bobby C. Allen of Los Angeles. Robinson Funeral Home is in charge.
