Jesse Deisher, retired farmer, died yesterday at the residence of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Rothenberger, near Zionsville. He was 79 years, 9 months and 24 days old. He was born in Hereford township, Berks county, the son of the late Charles and Barbara, nee Wetzel, Deisher. Surviving are his widow, Maria R., nee Reiter, and the following children, Mrs. Rothenberger, with whom he made his home; Mrs. W. T. Brensinger, Jonathan R., Mrs. C. H. Reppert and Mrs. Lizzie B. Schiffert. Two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Martha Frankenfield, Chapel; Mrs. Erwin Legengood, Camden, and Charles, East Greenville; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, also survive. A daughter, Mrs. Katie Sponheimer, preceded him in death. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 12.30 o'clock at the Rothenberger home. Further services will be held in the Reformed church, Old Zionsville, with interment in the Lutheran cemetery, Old Zionsville. Rev. J. N. Blatt and Rev. D. C. Kauffman will officiate.
