Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder and infielder, making his debut for the Louisville Colonels on June 8, 1895. For nine seasons, he played with the Louisville Colonels (1895-97), New York Giants (1897-98), Pittsburgh Pirates (1898-1900), Brooklyn Superb as (1901-02) and Boston Beaneaters (1903). He is the only player in Major League history to hit three inside the park homers in a single game. He concluded his career with a record of 465 runs scored, 857hits, 27 home runs, 388 runs batted in and a .289 batting average.
