William Claxton 'Tot' Baird, 89, of Germantown, formerly of Atoka, retired shipping supervisor for Bruce Industries, died Friday at his home. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Salem Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Atoka, where he was a member for 78 years, with burial in the church cemetery. Munford Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran. Mr. Baird, the husband of Kate Cole Baird for 61 years, also leaves a daughter, Cheryl Baird Smith of Germantown, and a grandson.
