DUNCAN — Glenn Edward Whiteley, 69 of Duncan, Ok died on Friday, April 1, 2011, at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Ok.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM, Tuesday, April 5, in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McConnell officiating.
Glenn was born January 26, 1942 in Duncan to Carl J, & Alice (Sprouse) Whiteley. He graduated from Duncan High School and served in the National Guard from 1963 to 1969. He worked for Paul Smith Auto Sales and was the founder/ owner of "Trim Plus" here in Duncan for many years. Glenn loved to fish and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is Survived by his mother Alice T. Whiteley of Duncan, a son Elvis Michael Wright, daughter Mikki Lynn Shafer & husband Wade. Brothers Ben Whitley and Carl Lynn Whiteley. Grandchildren Marcus A. Lawson, Niki K. McAtee, Karly L. Early, Michael P. Wright and Breana M. Wright.
Glenn was preceded in death by his father and a brother Jack Whiteley.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Montgomery, Richard Phipps, Steve Cochran, Mike Ramesy, Marcus Lawson and Larry Blackmon.
