Mr. James C. "Jay" Larmer, 60, of Frederick, died Sunday, June 29, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

He was the husband of Mildred Ann Larmer, his wife of 33 years.

Born Dec. 25, 1942, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Arsena Larmer of Silver Spring, and the late Clyde Larmer.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He worked for Frederick Gas Co. for 11 years.

He was a member of AMVETS Post 2.

He loved ham radios and his gun collection.

He also was a member of Hyattstown Christian Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister, Judith A. Holston and husband Lewis of Germantown; a granddaughter, Michelle Sullivan and husband Travis of Virginia; and a great-grandson, Charles Jason Madison of Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2.

Interment will follow in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hyattstown Christian Church, 26012 Frederick Road, Hyattstown, Md. 20871.
