Amos McCreery, aged 72 years, who for the past four years kept a candy store on Wall street, died this morning at the Kingston Hospital. Funeral from his residence on Albany Avenue Extension Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in Montrepose cemetery. Besides his wife, who was Ida Ayers, Mr. McCreery is survived by two daughters, Marion, wife of Lesle G. Reed of the town of Ulster and Edith, wife of Russell H. Haines of this city; three grandchildren; one brother, Cornelius McCreery of the town of Kingston; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Christiana of Alligerville and Mrs. Mary Kelder of this city. Mr. McCreery was born in Alligerville on November 17, 1856.
