Mrs. Mary (Collins) Fotta, 87, a resident of Roscoe for 70 years, died this morning in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after an illness of a month. Born in Gillespie, Feb. 16, 1877, a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Higgins Collins, she was a member of St. Jerome R.C. Church, Charleroi. Surviving are three sons, Alex Humphries, McKeesport; Louis Baker(grandson), Lynnwood; William Humphries(grandson), Pico Riviera, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Julia Baker Palombi(granddaughter), Anaheim, Calif.; 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Francis C. Slezak Funeral Home, Charleroi from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, at 11 a.m. from St. Jerome R.C. Church, Charleroi, with Rev. James McKeever officiating at requiem high mass. Interment will be in Howe Cemetery, Francis C. Slezak, funeral director.
