Obit-Oshkosh Northwestern - Alice M Daye age 77, of Wautoma passed away early Thurs morning Oct 11, 2001 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Waupaca. She was born July 22, 1924 in the town of Deerfield, the daughter of Stephen and Edna Johannes Bray. She married Wilbur Daye on June 12, 1943 at Shawano. Alice and her husband farmed for many years in the town of Dakota. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and canning. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur Daye, Wautoma: two children, Beverly Daye and James Daye, both of Wautoma; one granddaughter, Sara (Brett) Armstrong, Madison; two brothers, Dever (Margaret) Bray, Wautoma, Donald Bray, Wautoma; two sisters, Marian Gomoll, Wautoma, Doris Klusmeyer, Wild Rose; three sisters-in-law, Lauraine Bray, Wautoma, Joyce (Robert) DeLuara, Wautoma, Erma Daye, Markesan; one brother-in-law, Sylvester Johannes, Wautoma; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Edwin Bray; four sisters, Dorothy Bliske, Bernice Woyak, Erma Kitchen and Evelyn Johannes. Funeral Services will be held on Mon, Oct 15, 2001 at 11 am in Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma with the Rev Dale R Hanaman officiating. Burial will be in the North Dakota Cemetery, town of Dakota.
