WEIRTON, W.Va. – Mary Radakovich Davich died Sunday, June 5, 2005, in Weirton, W.Va. She was born Oct. 15, 1924, in Tridelphia, W.Va., to Janko and Milica Kusic Radakovich. She graduated from Weirton's Weir High School in 1942. She married Dr. Theodore B. “Ted” Davich, in 1945. They moved to Starkville in 1961, where she maintained their longtime home and established many deep and enduring friendships.
A memorial service, followed by a reception, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Starkville. Welch Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of local arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Dr. Theodore B. “Ted” Davich.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund or to Palmer Home for Children.
She and Theodore had 2 children, a son and a daughter.
