Aged Resident Dies of Illness
William Richard Taylor 84 resident of Warren Co since 1947 died at Medical Clinic Friday at 11 pm.
He had been ill two weeks. Funeral services were held Sunday at 1 pm at Elizabeth Chapel in DeKalb Co. Hubert Nixon and John H Taylor officiated and burial was in Whorton Springs Cemetery. A native of DeKalb Co, Mr Taylor was born April 11 1870. He was a son of David J and Elizabeth Taylor and he was married in 1889 to Miss Anna Allen who preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons W N Taylor Pulaski, Lofton Taylor McMinnvill, Clifton Taylor Woodbury; two daughters Mrs J S Van Hooser (Sarah) Huntsville Ala and Mrs L P Tittsworth (Geneva) Smithville; three sisters Mrs Lon Allen, Mrs Frank Greer and Mrs Isaac Hayes, Smithville.
