Patricia Franz was born Oct. 10, 1942, in Bloomington, the daughter of Earl and Pearl Shankel. She married Kenneth Franz in 1965, and he preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. Franz was supervisor of the bakery department at Eagle Food Stores in Springfield and was a member of United Food and Confectioners Workers Union 881. Survivors: three sons, Frank Rogers, Steve Rogers and Bob Franz; a daughter, Kimberly Franz and five grandchildren.
