Survived by her husband; four sons, Steven (Adrianne) of Chicago, Illinois, Jeffery (Denise) of Denver, Colorado, Matthew (Fonda) of Waterloo, and Jason (Julie) of Council Bluffs; one daughter, Lori (Greg) Anderson of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Opal Abben of San Juan, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by one son, Mark; two brothers, Leonard and Leon; and two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Gwen Gilbert.
