Richard "Dick" Kline was born on April 14, 1921 in Madera, CA and died on November 10, 2001 in Madera at the age of 80. Dick was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Army in the Philippines. Dick was a lifelong resident of Madera and also served as Commander of the Madera National Guard Unit. He was the Past Commander of the V.F.W. Post #1981 in Madera and served many years on the Color Guard detail. Dick was also a member of the Madera Eagles Lodge.

Dick is survived by his two sons, Rick Line and Mark Busca both of Madera; his three daughters, Kelly Kline of Madera, Patricia Busca of Fresno, CA and Pamela Busca of Whittier, CA; his sister, Dorothy Cox of Sacramento, CA; his five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
