[Obit] Elizabeth A. Davenport, of Myrtle Point, died in Roseburg, Thursday, June 2, age about 75 years[b.1823]. She leaves two sons, George and Willard Davenport in this county and two daughters. Mrs. C.W. Hess and Mrs. W.A. Zook in Douglas County. The remains were brought to this city and interred in Myrtle Point Cemetery. It will be remembered that Granpa Davenport died at his home in this city recently, his wife going to Roseburg to reside with relatives soon after his death. (MPE-6/11/1898)
