Hiram P. Meyer, Edson Farmer Dies

Chippewa Falls - Hiram P. Meyer, farmer and cattleman of Edson, died Wednesday Morning at St. Joseph's Hospital in this city following an illness of two weeks.
He was born Aug 15, 1893, in Edson, where he spent his entire life. On August 13, 1929, he married Miss Marie Raschka of Ludington, Mich., who with their daughter, Mrs John Buchignani and two grandchildren, survive. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs Margaret Wellner, of Boyd; Mrs Nick Schumacher, Elk Mound; and Mrs A.G. Raschka, Ludington, Mich., and two brothers, Joseph M. and Frank of Boyd; and 31 nieces and nephews.
Mr Meyer was a member of Sacred Heart Parish of Edson; the Catholic Order of Foresters, and of Goldsmith Council, Knights of Columbus, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call at the Plombom Funeral Home in Stanley.
The funeral services will be held Saturday, at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church in Edson.
