Rick was born and lived his life in Tulsa, never having met a stranger and touching many lives. His blue eyes, charming smile, and magnetic personality could make a person feel like he hung the moon and the stars for them. He enjoyed and shared many passions during his life: street rods, motorcycles, exotic animals. He loved being at the lake and playing with his toys - his jet ski and boat. Rick wore a variety of career hats but preferred being his own boss, previously owning a pet store, motocross track, and a carpentry business. He spent years in motorcycle sales and as a route salesman. He lived life in the fast lane, rode hard, and enjoyed every minute. Rick leaves behind his wife, Tracy; 4 daughters: Angela Elkins (Jim), Laura Reynolds (Mike), Cynthia Padgett (Dennis), Rachel Wolfe (Ricky); 2 step-daughters: Amy and Catie Ratcliffe; 8 grandchildren: Taylor, Zachary, Michelle, Kyle, Gabriella, Colby, Christian and Chancelor; as well as many extended family and friends. Rick has joined other loved ones in Heaven, including his parents, Art and Louise Conwell, sister, Donna Shupert, and brother, Charles "Sonny" Conwell. Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday, April 6th at Christ United Methodist Church at 1 pm. This obituary was published in the Tulsa World on 4/5/2011.
