Mrs. Schuricht died Fe b. 28, 1998 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home of natural causes. She was 93.
She was born July 16, 1904 at Pierce, Neb., to John and Louise [Siemsen] Brahms. At age of 3, she traveled by horse & wagon with her parents from Neb. to Van Tassle, Wyoming in 1907 and has lived in Wyoming since.
On May 23, 1922, she married John E. Schuricht at Lusk. They lived in the Lusk area until 1937, when she & her husband moved with their son, Bernard, to Moorcroft. They bought the Flying E. Ranch north of town. She lived & worked on the ranch from that time until July 1991, when she moved to Pioneer Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Moorcroft Senior Citizen's Center, 500 Card Club and Carlile Livewires Homemakers Club for many years. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Playing cards was her favorite pastime.
Survivors include son, Bernard Schuricht of Moorcroft; a sister, Dora Lincoln of Newcastle; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
