Mark was the son of Howard and Rosamond (Dolan) Lind. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Beresford, SD. At the time of his death, Mark was a junior at Beresford High School, where he had been active in football, wrestling, and Future Farmers of America. Mark died as the result of a car accident one mile north and one mile west of Alcester, SD. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1984, and was survived by his father and sister as well as by a great many friends.
