Ruby Arlene Robbins McClelland, 90, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Lakeside Nursing Center.

She was born September 20, 1920, in Malvern to the late Garland and Colena Mae Robbins.

She was homemaker, an activities director at Lane's Nursing Home and piano teacher. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Mrs. McClelland enjoyed helping elderly people, playing piano at church, cooking, sewing, quilting and just visiting with people. She had smile and hug for everyone, she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her children, Jerry McClelland of Tomball, Texas and Jim McClelland and wife Janice of Guntersville, Al; Janice Sutton and husband Frank of Mountain Home; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. McClelland.

A celebration of her life was held at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. Burial was at Macey Cemetery near Monette.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were: Steve Mize, Stanley Mize, David Mize, Matt McClelland, Jason McClelland and Ed Dempsey.

Honorary pallbearers were: Clarence Platz, Wilburn Kirby and Bud Moxley.
