Albert J. Lundberg was born on 23 April 1912 in Hudiksvall, Gävleborg, Sweden, the eldest son of Albert Levi Lundberg (1880-1972) and Ida Caroline (Sundberg) Lundberg (1884-1962). His family emigrated to the U.S. when he was a boy, and he was raised in Minneapolis, the eldest of four children. He married Florence May Jones (1915-1993) on 25 September 1937 in Minneapolis. He worked as a department manager for an Office supply company for five years before his death. He died in a tragic drowning accident on Lake Mitchell (near Big Lake), MN on 3 July 1938 at the age of 26. He was buried in Sunset Memorial Park. His widow Florence remarried four years later.

Funeral services for Albert J. Lundberg, 26, of 815 West 41st Street, who drowned Sunday, July 3rd in Lake Mitchell near Big Lake, Minnesota, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Park chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Florence Lundberg, his parents Albert L. & Ida Lundberg; a sister, Katherine Lundberg; and two brothers, Roland & Elroy Lundberg.
He was born in Sweden and had lived in Minneapolis most of his life.
Services on Wednesday, July 6, 10:00 am from the Sunset Memorial Park chapel. Barney Anderson & Son.
