Felipe C. Piedra, 86, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 24, 1921 in Charlotte, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ysidro and Julia Piedra; son, Julio Piedra; and twin daughters. He is survived by his children Felipa Contreras, Hilda (Alfred) Longoria, Senaida (Joe) Velasquez, Victor Piedra; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Irene Piedra; brother-in-law, Ernest Mendez; several nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2007 from 9 AM to 9 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. A Funeral Procession will depart at 9:30 AM on Monday, June 18, 2007 for a 10 AM Mass at St. Leos Catholic Church. Interment will follow at First Memorial Burial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trevino Palo Alto Funeral Home.
