Robert L. "Bob" Rooth was the husband of Stella Joan Rooth, had three sons, Bill, Don and Ron. Was a graduate of Texas A&M '54. Served as officer in USAF, worked for TRW Mission for 31 years. He was bright, articulate, and was a conservative man. He enjoyed life and lived it on his own terms. He had many friends who he worked with at Mission who he had deep feelings for and who liked him as well. He was a man's man but was also regarded as a true gentleman. His expressive eyes and deliberate narriation gave his stories emphasis and made him someone people liked to listen to. He was a brilliant judge of character and he surrounded himself with successful, upbeat individuals. He had little time or patience for negativity. He was an honest man who respected peoples feelings and would dispense advice only if asked to. He enjoyed working his garden, spending time with his wife watching the stock market on TV, an occasional glass of wine or a beer and fishing; if the lake allowed! There is a sense of loss here with Bob's passing, but although he is no longer physically present among us, his love did and still does survive. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed for many years in the future.
