Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa. Burial is in the Poland Township Cemetery in Marathon, Iowa. There will be no visitation. The Fratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Michele was born August 12, 1980 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Robert and Sharon (Trenary) Harrington. She attended grade school and graduated from Sioux Central High School in Sioux Rapids, Iowa in 1998. From there, she continued her education at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. On April 12, 2005 she was blessed with a daughter, Emma.
Michele loved spending time outdoors; she enjoyed fishing, camping and mushroom hunting. The fire pit in the backyard was Michele's and Emma's special place; they spent as much time there as possible. Michele will be remembered as a fun girl who was full of spunk and had a good heart. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Emma Isis Seifert; her parents, Robert and Sharon Harrington of Rembrandt; her brother, Justin Harrington of Rembrandt; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michele was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ed and Kathelyn Harrington; maternal grandparents, Orville and Maxine Trenary; and aunts: Kathy Harrington and Marida (Harrington) Davis Karr.
