Hi, your theory that Perley Walters was married to a Mr Bradshaw is correct. In 1920 Dallas Texas she is found married to J. Luther Bradshaw (age 42, b. Illinois). Pearl Bradshaw is listed as 40 years old, born Mississippi. Also in their household is, 44 year old Bert Walters, born Mississippi and listed as a brother-in-law to J. Luther Bradshaw (Pearl's brother) Bert is listed as widowed. Bert is also found ten years earlier in 1910 living in Denver Colo. Born Mississippi. Listed as widowed at that time also. So, Bert was apparently married for a very brief time many years before he married Philomene. Perhaps his first wife died shortly after they were married. Since Bert was still in Dallas living with his parents in 1900, he must have married to the first wife sometime between 1900 and 1910 after which time he is widowed. Also, on Bert's 1918 WWI draft registration, he lists himself as Bert Columbus Walters, nearest living relative, Earl Walters. Both residing in Dallas on 2223 Holmes St. Hope this helps.
