Death of Wm. Cuppage.
Wm. Cuppage, born in Ireland in the year 1835, died at Newkirk, September 3d, 1913, after an illness of ten weeks.
Wm. Cuppage was one of the pioneer settlers of Newkirk and Kay county and up to a few years ago was a very active and energetic man. In this death a widow, two daughters and one son are left to mourn the loss. The last services were held at the home Friday at 2 o'clock, Rev. F.D. Stevick officiating. All that was mortal of our aged and respected citizen is a peaceful rest in our silent city.

Per wedding announcement in the Belfast Newsletter on Oct. 25 1860, he was the 6th son of Thomas Cuppage (esq) of Silverwood House, Lurgan. On Oct.9 he married Elizabeth Harding, the only daughter of Thomas Harding of Toronto, Canada.
