Henry A. Hillyer, 78, passed away, Saturday, March 26, 2011.
Henry relocated from Waco, TX to Pensacola. He retired from the Display and Design Department of Gayfers Department Store. He was actively involved in both building and creating sets for the Elvie DeMarko School of Ballet, Krewe of Lafitte, Pensacola Little Theater and numerous Mardis Gras and Fiesta groups in the Pensacola area.
Henry lived his life to the fullest; enjoying cooking, participating in garage sales, being with family, friends and his pets.
He is survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Christ Church, 18 Wright Street, Pensacola, FL. Following the service, a light luncheon will be served in the Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Appetite for Life, 44 W. Cervantes Street, Pensacola, FL 32501.
