Ardell Marie Dean Zimmerman Adamson passed away on March 29, 2011 in Lehi, Utah.

She was born July 29, 1922 in Tooele, Utah to Dayel and Sene Marie Newman Dean. She was raised in Eureka, Lehi, and American Fork, Utah, graduated from American Fork High School, and married S. Rex Zimmerman of Lehi in 1941; the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Rex passed away in 1989. Ardell married V. Keith Adamson of Highland in 1991. He passed away in 2009.

Ardell was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father James Walter Adamson, husbands Rex Zimmerman and Keith Adamson, brother Ramon (Kenna) Dean, daughter Kathleen, and granddaughter Sheri Zimmerman Klein. She is survived by her children, Dean (Melanie) Zimmerman, Alpine; Sharon (Lin) de Paula, Highland; Scott (Beverly) Zimmerman, Orem; Kyle (LaNae) Zimmerman, Lehi; Kurt (Jeane) Zimmerman, American Fork; and foster son Gerald Dukepoo, Polacca, Arizona; her siblings, Elaine (Lloyd) Andersen, Orem; Blaine (Marie) Adamson, Lehi; Janice (Tony) Peck, Lehi; and Connie Powell, South Jordan; twenty-seven grandchildren; sixty-three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by Keith's children, Janelle (John) Mattson, Idaho; Leon (Kathie) Adamson, American Fork; Mark (Nancy) Adamson, Irvine, California; Richard (Ann) Adamson, Highland; James Adamson, Salt Lake City; and Cheryl Adamson, Provo.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011 in the Highland Utah Twenty-Fourth Ward Chapel, 5212 West Country Club, Highland, Utah; preceded by a viewing at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening, and Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Highland Twenty-Fourth Ward Building.
Interment will be in the Lehi Cemetery.
