Alphonse F. Albrecht, beloved father and grandfather, entered rest on March 29, 2011 at the age of 94. He was born in Selma, Texas to Henry L. and Ida Vogel Albrecht on July 30, 1916. Alphonse was a direct descendent of the early Texas pioneers, immigrating from Germany in 1842. In the early 40's he began employment with Otis Elevators retiring in 1979. He was preceded in death by his wife Germaine, son Eric Albrecht; and grandson Richie Musak. He is survived by three children: David F. Albrecht and wife Karen, Dianne Musak and husband Wally, Dr. Sandi Albrecht; grandchildren: Anne Debra, David Jr. and Austin Albrecht, Rhonda and Robert Musak, Amy Buss, Emily and Molly Albrecht; great-grandson, Ethan Buss; aunt Irma Radke and husband Walter; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Holy Cross Mausoleum with interment to follow.
