Eldon George Pierce is the father of Kenneth Lee Pierce with his first wife, which he then raised with the help of his second wife, Louise R. Pilger.
After marrying Louise he helped raise his two step sons, Charles Laurence Jett and Gordon Jett and fathered, Lawrence Frank Pierce, Rebecca Jean (Jeannie) Pierce, Rita Joan (Joan) Pierce, Lawy.
Eldon lived in many places in Missouri with his family, the last being Eureka, Missouri where he died in his home at the very young age of 51 from cancer.
His wife Louise lived in De Soto, MO with their children while he worked on building their first home in Eureka, Missouri. Eldon stayed whith his sister Jessie's in St. Louis where he worked as shoe cutter during the week then returned home to spend time with his famiy on the weekend.
Eldon was preceded in death by his father Frank M. Pierce in 1963 and mother Cora V. Pierce in 1965.
He is survived by his 2 brothers, Samuel P. Pierce and Archie G. Pierce both of Missouri, his 2 sisters; Ester P Pierce and Jessie L. Pierce, Harness of St. Louis, Missouri. His 2 sons: Kenneth Lee Pierce of San Jose, California, Lawrence Frank Pierce of Portland, Oregon, 2 daughters: Rebecca Jean Pierce of Portland Oregon and Rita Joan Pierce of Portland, Oregon and 2 step sons: Charles Laurence Jett in Washington and Gordon Jett in Hillsboro, Missouri.
He will be greatly missed.
